Melling is a charming village nestled in the Lune Valley of Lancashire, England, known for its scenic rural surroundings and rich historical background. Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, the village has deep historical roots that have shaped its character over the centuries. One of Melling's standout features is St. Wilfrid’s Church, a historic parish church with elements dating back to the 12th century. This Grade I listed building serves as a central landmark and reflects the village's longstanding heritage.

The surrounding landscape of Melling is marked by rolling hills, lush farmland, and the natural beauty of the Lune Valley, making it a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy walking, cycling, and taking in the tranquil environment. Despite its small size, Melling boasts a strong sense of community, with residents who take pride in their village's history and lifestyle. The village often hosts local events, fostering a warm, close-knit atmosphere that makes Melling a peaceful and inviting place to live.
Tenancy Application Forms are available from Lune Valley Estates.
All adults of 18yrs and over who will be living at the property will be asked to provide evidence of nationality and identity to validate their "Right to Rent" under the Immigration Act 2014.
The successful tenant will be required to pay a deposit (equal to a maximum of 5 weeks rent depending on the property). This will be held in accordance with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme Regulations and will be re-fundable at the end of the tenancy, subject to the property being left in a satisfactory condition. Rent is payable on or by each rent day and is payable by standing order. One month's rent in advance plus the deposit, is required at the time of signing the agreement.

Please Note: It is NOT possible to use the deposit as rent for the final month.
