Well, whether your Christmas tree has been up & sparkling for weeks, or it’s still firmly in the box, we have compiled a list of Lune Valley festivities happening across the area!
1. Lancaster on Ice
With an 800m (real ice!) ice rink, Christmas stalls, a big wheel and a giant, (but cosy) Tipi bar, Lancaster on Ice provides enough Christmas cheer to convert an entire family of Scrooges!
The Tipi bar provides an adorable spot to sit back and relax, enjoying a mulled wine and toasting marshmallows around the firepit.
The Borough hotel and restaurant faces Dalton Square & all of the festivities, and of course also welcomes guests visiting the Christmas attractions.
2. Cinderella Christmas Panto at The Grand Theatre.
A perfect opportunity for all of the family to enjoy a classic Christmas tradition together – why not stop by the Christmas markets on Dalton Square afterwards!
3. Christmas at Leven’s Hall
With spectacularly lit gardens, local craft stalls, performances from local musicians, and delicious food & drink on offer, Leven’s hall is the place to be on the 8-12th December this winter!
4. Windermere Christmas celebration
On December 10th&11th, Windermere’s Christmas celebration will be returning after two years off!
Between 10am-4pm over the weekend, local craft & gifts, food & drink and live entertainment will be up for grabs – fun for all of the family!
5. Kanteena – Santas Grotto @ Wintermarkt
Known for its fabulous food, drink and atmosphere, Kanteena are hosting a Santa’s grotto event on Sunday 11th December, along with their Wintermarkt event, where you can experience Christmas market stalls, live music & DJs, festive street food & more!
